All our selections are proofed to the number one proofing service Racing-Index.com and we have tipped a number of winners at 20/1 and above including a good many at 33/1 and one at 50/1! We have also tipped many high priced horses who have gone on to place including one at 100/1 which finished 3rd and won us our place bet at odds of 56.0 on Betfair! We generally bet win only unless the place price on Betfair is at 30 or above. (See our FAQ for more details about staking.)

You will note that despite making 271 points profit at Betfair SP, in the same period we actually would have made a only 7  points betting at bookmakers SP.

Proof if ever it was needed that it is extremely difficult to beat the bookmaker!

Instead we take advantage of the fact that the removal of the bookmakers' over-round margin on Betfair comes mainly via outsiders. This means that whilst the front few in the betting will usually be at similar prices at both the bookies and the exchange, the rest of the field are at greatly increased prices and it is this difference which we seek to exploit. That means our tips are always above 10/1 when we send out our selections, although obviously we have no control over what happens to the price as the day progresses

Consider the graph of our results as proofed to Racing Index from the introduction of Betfair SP on 12th December 2007....

Just look at the difference between Betfair SP (the red line)  and official SP (the blue line) - it's something in the region of 263 points!
